Smoked and Reversed Seared Bone-in Ribeye

Our beef recipe is the Smoked and Reversed Seared Bone-in Ribeye.

The ribeye is one of the most common types of steaks. They're often called beauty steaks, and are also one of the best steaks with their juicy, tender and flavorful chunks. They also have the right amount of fat. A bone-in ribeye means that the steak has a piece of the rib bone in it.

Here are the steps to make the delectable smoked and reversed seared ribeye.

  • Get your bone-in ribeye marinated in soy sauce for about 45 minutes.
  • Lightly season the meat with Holy Cow BBQ Rub Meat Church BBQ and Cavender's All Purpose Greek Seasoning.
  • Smoke and sear.

Check out this video for the cooking demonstration:

Here are some additional steps to complete the dish:

Sautee mushrooms with blue cheese.

Place on top of the ribeye.

Cut a fresh jalopeño into round slices and arrange them on the plate.

Add a choice of your homemade cucumber and red onion salad as a side dish.

First, marinate the Ahi tuna for 3 to 4 hours in a mixture of the following ingredients:

  • 1tbsp honey
  • 1tbsp sesame oil
  • 2tbsp white wine vinegar

Afterwards, cover the tuna steaks in a homemade rub using the following ingredients:

Once the steaks are coated with the rub, quickly sear them in a hot cast iron pan for 2 minutes in each side. The steak has to be rare in the inside.
